Interesting, I'm 55% Dixie, barely in Dixie.

I've lived in Atlanta, Georgia since I was six, but moved down here from Michigan, where I learned to speak English.

Well, I was born in VA, grew up in KY, but haven't been back to that area since 7th grade, so not surprised with the results: 52% Dixie. Barely in Dixie

I suspect in a few more years I'll have lost all of my Dixie affiliation.

I'm 52% also. I was born in Maryland but lived in Ohio all my life (except for those magical weeks in New Orleans (Norlins)

The whole sneakers or tennis shoes thing...I call them runners, or running shoes, which apparently is odd. Is this a Canadian thing?

I'm 53% barely in Dixie. I'm from NE Ohio originally, so that makes sense. My grandmother though was from Tenn so I know some things we still say as a family is from her heritage. I'm in SW MO now, so I answered with what I generally say. A few of those things I use both terms for and that wasn't an option on some of those questions. Interesting quiz though!

I have never heard that term...bubbler. Drinking fountain, water fountain, yes. If someone told me to get a drink at the "bubbler", I would be floored...lol.

49% Dixie. Barely in Yankeedom.

I didn't even understand most of the questions!

WHO would throw toilet roll over a house!

Bye the way, in "Norn Iron" an ice cream cone is called a poke and if you stick a chocolate flake in it its called a 99, don't know why though!

If anyone is interested try this site, very funny and surprisingly accurate!

I think so. I also remember calling thongs the things you wear on your feet in summer. Flip flops now. They weren't underwear. That was called gitch or gonch
