    Prom Themed Party : 10 years Later

    I graduated High School ten years ago, and I have recently rented a space to have my birthday party. My friends and I decided to do a Prom Party. (One of our friends was giving birth during her actual prom and wasnt able to attend and the theme was sort of born from there)

    I am wondering what Ideas anyone can add to make it especially fun!

    I am gonna do cheesy decorations ( streamers, disco ball, stupid theme on the sign i.e. Enchanted Evening Under the Sea, etc) and a back drop for couples to get their "prom photo's" taken in front of...

    what else can I do for some fun and laughs?

    Everyone has to wear prom dresses and tuxes.

    I bet you can find some at thrift stores and consignment shops.

    Coursages a must.

    Cheesy party favors that mimic the theme.

    A king and queen of the prom

    It is fairly inexpensive to get paper napkins stamped. Check your local party store. You can have the theme or your name and happy birthday stamped on them.

    What a GREAT idea for a party!

    Don't forget the punch bowls (spiking optional) and the cheap plastic cups.

    If you have any teachers you liked, you could ask them to come as chaperones - they would probably get a real kick out of it.

    The napkin Idea is fabulous!!! I absolutely love it!!! Thanks, and yes we of course are getting dressed up for the occasion I cant wait to see what some of my wacky friends pick out!!!

    Well, there is currently a cheesy band set to play a list I provide to them, and then a DJ later... I was thinking of making cd's as party favors though
