What a great idea for a thread!
The best part of my day was taking a trunkload of paint cans (seriously) to the Eco-station and donating two nice light fixtures to Goodwill.
The other Best part of the day was taking my kitts for a stroller ride down the block and back! It was chilly out but the sun was shining. I got several "looks" from passersby.
The best part of my day today was seeing Dick win on BB8......

The best part of my day (yesterday actually) was that my Dad found my prescription sunglasses in a pile of leaves by my deck! I had lost them for 2 days and was phoning all the places I had been to see if I left them somewhere. WHEW!
At the time he found them, I was mowing the lawn. I almost mowed my glasses into pieces! Yikes!

The best part of today is that I went on a cooking binge and I now not only have dinner in the oven, but I have made gazpacho (been wanting that for over a month now) and got a head start on dinner for tomorrow, so I roughly have 3 meals made in an afternoon. :)
ETA: AND the kitchen cleaned up.
That was the best! Lucky snag misskitty's dad! My best part of the day so far was being woken up waaaaaay too early on a Sunday by my kitten looking for attention. She climbed on top of me and purrrrrred and I was able to just lay there petting her in no rush to get up. What a lovely way to start the day.Quote:

We drove up to Sacramento this weekend to spend a little time with our youngest son and his wife.
This morning we drove all around midtown Sacramento. Got to see the Capitol building near where DIL works. Ate at a trendy cafe then drove around "Old town" to see all the old surviving store buildings from the 1800's. Got a peek at several beautiful Victorian Homes.....wonderful morning :biglove

Well it certainly hasn't been the food! I have gastroenteritis and have been on the good old jello and broth diet. But I've had HORRIBLE stomach pains and the dr. did give me something to relax me and THAT has been the best part of my day. Getting to lay down without pain and sleep. I haven't been able to sleep much either from the pain.
Having a good nap is always the best part of the day if I can manage to swing it.
The best time of the day is when you just lay on the bed without anything in your mind , just relax yourself totally and have a sweet dream . hehe ^_^
The best part of the day so far has been sleeping in (almost impossible with a dog and 2 cats sleeping with me and wanting their morning canned food) and then having a slight edge of caffeine desperation and then finally sitting down to the FORT and taking that first big gulp of perfectly brewed coffee. AHHHHHHHHH. Man, I love that feeling.
