I'll be working in one form or another...when not at the grocery store, I'm helping one of my best girlfriends move. Unfortunately it's just the two of us to move all her stuff, which wouldn't be that big of a deal except for the full size washer and dryer that need to come downstairs and onto the truck. I really need to find one of my guy friends that isn't working and try all manner of sweet talk to get us some help.

Sweet talk all you want I'm working all weekend too. We have a car show Saturday night, another one Monday and I'm short of help. Nothing new.

Here's some guy help (well, guy advice.) When moving the washer/dryer, think outside the box, or in this case, outside the window. Gravity is wonderful at moving things down. That will free up all kinds of time for you to enjoy the holiday

Let's see. Ballet class (for my daughter, not me ), sleep, mow, sleep. That's about it.

Both sets of grandparents are coming to our house the week after labor day, so I'll be spending the weekend cleaning and shampooing carpets and trying to figure out where to put everybody. Plus it's supposed to rain so there will be no outside revelry at my house

I used a dolly when I moved last time-being the only adult, it worked real well for me.

I'm planning on planting bulbs for next spring and summer. I can't wait!!

Is it that time already? I just moved into my new house, and the yard has such potential... but I'm going to have a lot of work on my hands to get it there. We have several multi-level beds in the back and I need to decide what to plant in them. I guess I better not procrastinate too long! But this weekend, I'm taking a much needed break and doing absolutley nothing. Movie marathons all weekend. Kiddos are at their dad's so I won't even have to change out of my pajamas if I don't want to! Love it.
