seriously - it's not a big problem because I don't live with him (yet) we talk about it when my daughter goes off to college next year (gawd I'm gettin up there)

It's really only a problem when I'm in a pissy mood and don't wanna be with him when he's here. I just don't want to tell him to GET OUT haha

I'm on here mostly in the mornings anyway - so - that too makes it okay.

I do have friends who have husbands/boyfriends/girlfriends who don't let them go on-line and if my boyfriend ever gave me a hard time about it - I'd tell him to......can't type it here.

I feel, so long as I'm not doing anything wrong (besides hanging around here or playing chess when I should be working)
I'm not hurting him -
I'm only making more work for myself.

My online time was a constant battle with my soon-to-be-ex, the big shame is that when he had finally started to accept it he became such a butthead that I had to leave him LOL. Near the end of our relationship he actually started to get it and knew my friends by both online and regular names and actually could remember where I knew them from and had no problems with it. The many years before that were a complete other story, fights/jealousy/more fights/me sneaking online only after he was gone to work or bed for the day...it had some very ugly moments.

Thankfully I don't forsee any problems with the guy I'm seeing now, heck I brought him by here last night cause he'd never been to a message board before and I wanted to show him what I do that takes so long when I do a "quick email check" cause lord knows hitting the boards is included in that!! He's sort of a webhead himself, heck he's an ebay addict, so it's all good...right now it's all new tho too so the little time we get together is spent far away from the computer for the most part, but it looks like it'll be a no fight zone when it comes to being online for long-ish periods of time.

well, I better add my two cents to this thread, huh??? (haha)

My husband is more of a compuer hog than I. He does not get off work until 11 pm and I am home all day. He comes home and goes right to the computer. See, my hubby has a hobby. He likes (get this) tornado sirens. Yes, those are the loud things that blast outside warning you that a tornado is coming. He actually owns a control box to one of these and he just got his first siren. *sigh*

I have more of a problem with him being online than he has with me. He spends all his time on here and I get frustrated. But, I guess that this is better than some things he would be doiung, huh?
