Oh, it's my driveway a few weeks ago. Snow is gone now, so maybe it is time for a change

Well, well, well--Do I detect another comic book fan?

True story: I had Mike Mignola's Hellboy on the background of my laptop when I went on my real first business trip.

My immediate supervisor spotted it, and asked, "What is that?"

When I told him it was a comic-book character named "Hellboy," he told me, "You may want to consider taking that off. Remember-- we're in the South, and some of our customers may not go for that."

Pointillism: Pointillism is a style of painting that was popular among the French Neo-Impressionists of the late 19th century. It involves the practice of applying small strokes or dots of contrasting pigment to a surface so that from a distance the dots blend together into solid forms.

Here's an example of pointillism by the "father" of the genre, Georges Seurat (whose name I always end up pronouncing like "sewer rat").

When you're ten years old and a car drives by and splashes a puddle of water all over you, it's hard to decide if you should go to school like that or try to go home and change and probably be late. So while he was trying to decide, I drove by and splashed him again. - Jack Handey
