Year of the Boar / Red Pig - 2007

GUNG HAY FAT CHOY HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!

    Attachment 19403

February 18th is Chinese New Year. We leave the Year of the Dog and venture into the Year of the Boar or Red Pig as it is sometimes called.

Famous people born in the Year of the Pig include Humphrey Bogart, Lucille Ball, Alfred Hitchcock, David Letterman, and Arnold Schwarznegger.

There are many animals which represent the year you were born and your lucky elements. There are many sites where you can find out if this year will be lucky for you in love, business, politics, money. I haven't posted any, but feel free to do so.

I celebrated last night with Chinese Food and enjoyed the most delicious dish of salt and pepper seafood medley.

I wish you all a happy and successful year!

    Happy celebrating!

miskitty, was it you who was too sick on NYE (or was is Christmas?) to celebrate with your family at your favorite Chinese restaurant? I'm so glad you got your fill of yummy Chinese food last night!

My mom was born in the Year of the Pig. Today and tomorrow, my family and I will be feasting!
