I'm going to be a good girl and stay home. We're going to be doing a super low key Christmas this year simply because we're trying to NOT spend money.

I've never shopped on Black Friday but for those of you who are brave enough to do so; here is the official 2008 website so you can see what's out there. Good Luck!

i haven't stepped foot near a store on black friday in close to 20 years. NOTHING is worth those stupid crowds. i happen to have the day off this year, and unfortunately, it falls on payday too. i usually stop at my favorite store on payday for a few groceries, but this year ... NOPE. i'm staying faaaaar away.

I wasn't going to go this year and it's going to be a lean Christmas, but the Walmart flyer came in the mail and there were several things in it that would make it a little easier to have some semblance of Christmas, so I'm going to go after all. It's a 5 a.m. start, which is nothing for me. I'm usually up around 4:30 on work days. I'm also tempted by a laptop since I have a daughter heading to college in the fall who will need one. I'm going to that specific thread for advice now. Hopefully I can get my ex to go in on it together.
    Count your blessings!

I refuse to go shopping on Black Friday... you really don't save that much and you can shop online on Monday for nearly the same deals without leaving your chair. No arguments, no screaming kids, bliss!
    Yup, with donuts!!

We will probably be going just because we find it fun. I still have a little bit of shopping to do as well, so it should be interesting.

I wasn't going to go but now am lookig for an X-box Anyone have any sales flyers with good prices on those?

I used to go with friends every year and we had a ball. Throwing stereos and laughing our butts off and just having a grand time followed by breakfast out and then home to nap. I do miss those days.
