Yes, the company was Village Bath. I called them last year to see if they still sold the tins. They don't. The costumer service rep said the company has changed hands so many times siince then, that they do not even have the formula anymore. Too bad, I loved those.

I thought this thread was for reminiscing about the 70s and 80s - now just one product. Remember cabbage patch dolls, care bears, etc.

Aww...I had the mint green Carebear, which was I believe Bedtime Bear! I also had a Cabbage Patch doll who was black and her name was Hannah (I named her after my cat!). I got both of these gifts when I was 18 or so!!!!

I graduated HS in 1986, so I was a teenager of the 80's! Some of the best days of my life! And I had those "Village Bath" lip glosses too! I had done forgot about them! COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm a late 70's girl! Remember those old record albums we use to play on the record players?

Strawberry Shortcake and the smurfs. I played with both in the 80's. They were some of my favorite toys. My bedroom was painted pink and I had the Strawberry shortcake bedding set, garbage can ect. LOL. As I got older, it became leg warmers, high tops, and the big hair.

I still have some 45's laying around here somewhere. Nothing to play them on, though.

I remember wearing some of the most awful clothes in the 80's: parachute pants, screaming neon-colored clothes, silly-looking headbands, stupid Sassoon jeans with zippers at the ankles (they were so tight, it was the only way to get them on!). Then all the Madonna stuff came out - ripped/cutoff shirts, zillions of bracelets. Ugh. And I went through one of those huge cans of Aqua Net every week.

And the bell-bottomed jeans ...the bigger the flared leg, the better!

And what a big deal it was if someone actually had an 8 track player in their car? And remember the big 'gaps' between the tracks, sometimes even in the middle of a song if it was a really long song?
