From the looks of it, someone messed up... could be related to the domain, or the webhost, I really don't know. Give it a few days, maybe they'll clear things up.

Hey you midwestern FORTERS, did you feel the earthquake this morning? Everyone ok?
The news said it was felt as far away as Chicago and Milwaukee, Des Moines and Cincinnati.

I thought one of the boys had gas. Actually I didn't feel a thing here in Columbus.

All I felt was Joey waking me up. But he was a bit unsettled this AM.

Felt it. It shook my bed and woke me up here in a Chicago suburb.

I got a text message from my brother who lives in Evansville, Indiana -- pretty close to the epicenter. He said he the shaking woke him up (pretty miraculous, since NOTHING wakes him up!). He checked his house for damage, but everything's okay. But -- at least by California standards -- 5.4 is pretty much next-to-nothing. Did they get the wrong numbers for the magnitude, or does it just seem like more in the midwest?

Anyway, my brother was pretty excited, because redneck E-vizzy is now "California cool"!

    Unk.

I have friends in Chicago and Louisville. Both of them felt it and are a tiny bit freaked out by it.

I live in Evansville. The epicenter is about 40 miles from here. It majorly rocked our house, but no damage. Not the best way to get woken up. The kitties were majorly freeked. I think because it's so wide open here when we do have an earthquake we really feel it. They said on the news that it was a 5.4. My dad was staying with me last night and he used to live in Oakland CA, and felt a 6.0 there that he said matched the one this morning in intensity. Also keep in mind that we close schools here for 1 inch of snow. Very excitable.

Glad to hear everyone is ok. Thanks for checking in. Hope it wasn't too frightening. I think I would have freaked. I know the dogs would have. They don't even like thunder.

I live in Western Michigan and I felt it. I was so confused why everything was shaking. We don't normally get earthquakes so it was all the talk at school this morning.
