We don't have a Linen N Things in Montreal, but my mom is crossing the border this Saturday and I asked her to get me one if she passes by the Walmart. She said since everyone is raving about it, she might as well get herself one too!

I'll check them out, thanks Duxxy!

BTW: I heard that Linen's n Things is asking for bankruptcy protection. They are having a bit of a cash flow problem so look out for BIG SALES!!!

Misskitty, Walgreen has those for $9.99, although I guess it's more up there. At least it seemed like everything I bought when I visited cost a lot more. Still, worth a check if there is a Walgreen there.

Here is a question for all you internet savvy people:

There is another message board I used to visit daily. This was a very active site, the best kind IMO. Anyway, one day it just completely disappeared. My links don't work, I've tried google and cannot find it anymore. Why does a site just disappear like that?

It depends on the kind of error you get when you try to go there. Could be they've got prolonged server problems, or somebody forgot to renew the domain, or they've been hacked, or the boss there out-and-out quit... lots of reasons.

I've had that happen with little online stores. One day, poof, just gone, non-existent. A friend of mine had bought something from them and they actually sent an email that they were out of business but would refund the money and the next day it was back in the bank account.

When I try my link I get a domain page. If they changed domain's wouldn't something turn up on google if they went somewhere else?

I'm not sure what you mean by "domain page". It could be that the site's web admin forgot to renew their domain name. I've seen it happen.
