I know exactly what you mean about other people's feet. Maybe after a glass of wine or a beer? For you AND for him!! Father's Day is coming, you know!

I am so not a "go to the doctor" kind of person. The fact that I even have had the problem explored amazes me. This problem has been with me since I was a child, I'd say. I think it may be hereditary. I want to say I remember my mother talking about a similar problem. My doc never suggested that it might be surgical, but not all doctors are created equal, either. You can be the least smart person in medical school, and still come away with the title "Doctor", you know. What a drag!

(And dont call me 'lint licker', 'cootie queen'!!!) LOVE IT!!!!

I want a pedi-egg too! I was at Walmart today and didn't see any. I wish I had a coupon though. Do you know if places like Linens & Things or Bed, Bath & Beyond sell them? I always have 20% off coupons for those places.

Probably both of them sell them. Mine came from B, B, and B.

    Re: FORT Koffee Klatch

I'm back from the doctor and as I'd hoped, he's going to have me take an anti-inflamitory, ice it, stay off of it, and see if it goes away on its own. If I still have a problem in a week, I have a write-up to have it X-rayed so he can send me to a specialist (who would require an X-ray - he doesn't think it's broken). He called in the pills and also a pair of crutches which is supposed to be covered, but when I got there they said they'd been having trouble with billing and I'd have to pay for the crutches... $45. No thanks. So I have one of my son's aluminum crutches made for someone who's 6'5" (the other is in his dorm room) and one ancient wooden crutch with no cross bar to hold onto, so I have to grasp the side of the crutch. I'll ask the school nurse on Monday if she has a pair I can borrow.
    Count your blessings!

Oh no Gut! I'm sorry to hear your going to have to put up with some pain for a bit! Hopefully you'll be able to borrow some crutches so that you don't have to hobble!

Gutmutter, I hope you get some better crutches. The ones you're using now sound dangerous.

You've all made me want to get a Pedi-egg! They sound like the best thing since sliced bread.

I've been sick with the flu since Saturday, and my poor nose was so red and raw. It hurt something terrible from all the nose blowing. Every time I put lotion on it, the lotion made my skin burn. After reading all the labels, I discovered all the lotions I have contain some alcohol. What to do? I reached back to my Italian roots and put olive oil on my poor snoz. Such sweet relief! My dry, irritated skin is almost back to normal.

I hope you get better soon Gut.
I got my answers from Paper Mate Pens and Yoplait today.
    Hello Mr. XXXXXXX,

Unfortunately, we no longer manufacture the Paper Mate Profile pen.
However, our fine writing division manufactures the Parker Jotter
ballpoint pen that has many of the characteristics of the Paper Mate Profile
    pen.

We suggest calling your local office supply retailer for availability
in your area. We presently show CVS and Eckerd drug stores, Albertson
Grocery, Kmart and Office Depot carrying versions of this product. For
more information you can contact Parker Pen at (800) 237-8736 or online
at Parker pens and pencils : maker of fine writing instruments.

Thank you for e-mailing us and for your support of Sanford products.
    Dear Mr. XXXXXX:

Thank you for contacting Yoplait regarding the availability of Yoplait Light Thick and Creamy French Vanilla Yogurt.

We would like to see all our products on shelves in every store. However, as the number of items on the market increases, grocers face the dilemma of finding sufficient shelf space to display products. Retailers stock the products and brand choices they feel best meet the majority of their customers' needs. You may wish to ask a local store manager to order this product from the supplier.

We do offer an online product locator, which you may find helpful in finding this product in your area. Please visit our corporate web site at General Mills: Home Page and select “Brands”, then “Product Locator” on the left side of the screen to utilize this feature. Or if you prefer, you can call us at 1-800-249-0562, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Central Standard Time. One of our Consumer Services Representatives will be happy to initiate the product search for you.

We appreciate your loyalty to our products. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

    Sincerely,

    Nancy Jackson
    Consumer Services
You figure they would at least give me some coupons.

    Re: FORT Koffee Klatch

Unk that sucks that they didn't send coupons. I know that Publix will special order stuff if you ask them, I'm sure other grocers do as well. Good luck.

Gut, those crutches sound like an accident waiting to happen. I hope you get relief soon and I'm so sorry this happened to you on a school holiday and weekend to boot. I'm sorry it happened period. Take care of yourself and be careful on those crutches. I have a pair, wish I lived closer. Mine would probably be a good fit for you.

Phroshay, it would take more than one glass of wine or beer for me to do that. i'd have to be totally blotto!
I had to laugh about your doctor saying. I've always said for years: "what do you call a doctor that graduates at the bottom of his class in med school? Answer: Doctor"

BT, sorry you've been so sick and y our poor snoze is hurting. My mom swore by the medicated vaseline. She was on oxygen for years and her nose stayed irritated by the oxygen and the tubes and she used that medicated stuff. I've never heard of the olive oil but sounds good. I know it has a lot of uses. I heat it and put it on my hair for a hot oil treatment that doesn't cost $10 a tube.

And Archie, you MUST, MUST, MUST get the pedi egg. I've walked around this afternoon in utter amazement and keep feeling my own feet because they are now smooth as a baby's bottom. (I am easily amused, but this product is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! Phroshay is now my idol for reccomending this)
I bet B,B & B have it as they have all that kind of stuff. Call them and see.
Que me amat, amet et canem meum
(Who loves me will love my dog also)
