    Re: FORT Koffee Klatch

Had to share this with my fellow FoRTers! I sent my "Honeybump" to Bed, Bath, and Beyond a couple of days ago for a pizza stone, since I had broken mine in a moment of stupidity (dumb-A me put it under the broiler). When that man came back, it was Christmas all over again! He brought home a "20-Q" game, a Ped-Egg, a box of Debbie Myers Green Bags, and these adjustable pot/container lids that can fit just about anything. He actually left the store, got a little bit down the street, and had to go back for the pizza stone that he forgot!

I believe its a piece of crockery designed to be put in the oven to put a pizza on to bake it evenly.

You're welcome. But before you think I'm smart, I actually googled it...

    Re: FORT Koffee Klatch

Now why would I go to a pampered chef party?

Let's see... free food and the coolest kitchen gadgetry ever. People love to invite me to one (although the trend has pretty much passed here) because I was a better salesperson the the real one. Their juice container has a slotted, fitted insert that raises up and down via a handle on the lid that mixes the frozen concentrate or remixes the juice when it has settled. The little plastic pan scrapers are perfect for any non-stick cookware. Their zigzag U-shaped cutter makes short work of the hardest veggies like raw sweet potatoes or turnips and makes fun wavy french fries from potatoes. Their stoneware baking dishes really do even out oven temps and keep things from burning on the edges. They have delicious herb mixes (the dill mix is the best!) You can get shaped bread tubes, frosting pipers, kitchen utensils, knives... ok. I'd better stop.
    Count your blessings!

I had a pizza stone once. It hurt like the dickens to pass it
