In seemed to me that when I was a registered voter for 4 years, that was the only time I had ever been called for jury duty. (twice in those 4 years) so my solution? I don't register to vote.

Also, DH registered right after we got married. Sure enough a year or so later he was called in for duty. Of course by that time he was on oxygen and now has a medical exemption..

I apparently have been rescheduled for my jury duty. I am hoping to not get stuck on a panel. I think mine this time is grand jury duty. I don't know how I feel about it.

In California they go by DMV records. For years I had the same address in Los Angeles County because I didn't have renew my license until last year. My old roommate would just put no longer here and send the summons back. Now my address is my current address at the DMV and I have received a jury notice which I lost in my house of papers and didn't call in for.

I still say keep saying, "Huh? What did you say?" Cup your ear, for added dramatic effect.

I have no problem doing that right now. The winds have made my ears plug up and I honestly cannot hear very much. It's driving mr buglover nuts!

That's so funny you say that! I have two of those ear candles and have been scared to death for a couple years to use them. They sit in a box taunting me.....if you use me, you will feel better!

OK, so I'm sure you wouldn't try to do that to yourself, since there is a open flame involved. Nothing to fear, though. You don't feel anything. Nothing falls into your ear...which is the thought that creeped me out.

I'll see if mr buglover wants to assist me in that adventure! I've heard so many things about how it clears out your ear and you hear better than when you were a kid. I think tonight I might give it a try because this listening to myself talk in my head is bugging me big time!

What is this you speak of buglover? My hearing is not good at all..too many Summer Jam concerts when I was young. (Those huge arena rock concerts.)
