I'm sorry, but there is ONLY one kind of pop tart: Strawberry.
(during the mad shopping prelude leading up to Hurricane Charley, you could not get water, batteries, tuna, peanut butter or strawberry poptarts. You could buy every other flavor of poptart, but strawberry was completely sold out. Somewhere, for 2 weeks following Hurricane Charley is a family that must have existed totally on Strawberry Pop Tarts.)

Strawberry is still number one hands down though!!Originally Posted by prhoshay;2813318;

Me too, don't like the fruit ones, and milkshake poptarts sound positively repulsive.Originally Posted by prhoshay;2813318;
Gosh it's been an age since I've had a pop-tart.
Strawberry is my fav too but with the icing and sprinkles. If I'm going to indulge in a poptart, why bother with the plain ones. I haven't had one in a few years now though. I seem to remember the last time I had them it seemed like the recipe had changed and they weren't as good as they used to be.
Thanks! It's a hit. I wanted to make it again ever since i didnt like the way my first one ended up.Originally Posted by CCL;2812320;
I'm actually strongly against this flavor. Im quite partial to the Smores flavored ones.I say cinnamon!

I don't like any kind of Pop Tarts. However, I love the good old-timey malted milk eggs like the kind MRD described -- with the color-flecked white shells that you'd apply as 1960s' white lipstick before biting into and savoring the candy. It's the best Easter candy by far! (Luckily, I can only eat three before getting a seasick-y feeling. Pre-op, I could easily eat a whole bag and gain 10 pounds before the end of the day!)

And this is why I don't invite more people over more often... They don't RSVP until the last minute, and then when they do, they ask if they can bring so and so with them. So what started as an intimate dinner for 6 has now turned into a free for all of pickiness -- some of them are allergic to this and that, others are vegetarians, some just won't eat things (onions, garlic -- I don't think I even know how to cook anything without onions and garlic!) etc. etc. etc. (I'm not making fun of allergies or anything like that. It's just that it seems like you can't invite people over anymore without having to quarantine half the ingredients in your fridge 'cause it might send someone to the E.R. Of course, that could just be my cooking!)
