    Re: FORT Koffee Klatch

I lived in my Grandmother's house after she elected to move into a retirement community. When she quit driving (at 87), we parked the car in her/my garage and I drove it fairly often. It was a late 80s Cadillac and it was huge. I once hauled a 6 foot tall Christmas tree in the trunk of that thing.

I usually don't name cars either but I do call my husband's truck "Truckleberry" because it is this weird purplish blue color that is exactly the same as a huckleberry.

I've never named my cars; however, about 16 - 20 years ago, my car-naming friends insisted on naming my ugly, clunky, hand-me-down deathmobiles:
"Peach Blossom" was a '72 Ford Pinto whose color was half primer, half baby-poop yellow.
"The Queen Mary" was an '80-something dark blue Olds Delta 88 with power windows that sometimes worked, and it got, like, 3 miles per gallon?

Funny how many of you don't usually name cars, but... Just sayin'

I think it's hilarious that some of you name your computers and gps systems!

I can understand the GPS because it sounds like a human voice. I recently went somewhere with a friend who had a guy with an English accent on her new system and he said things like, "100 yards until the roundabout" and "Turn left onto the motorway". We were cracking up.
    Count your blessings!

We had cloud cover. My daughter is bummed that she missed it.
