Thanks again! Lots of good information to go on and I will follow up. I got one bluebook trade in value, but I'll get the other two and print them up. I just dropped my daughter off with her father and he had 7 child-support payments he was behind on, so I may go phone shopping tomorrow after car shopping.

That alone sounds like a good enough reason to get a new car and a cell phone.

Can I just say, I don't think there is a more supportive site anywhere than the FORT? Thanks everyone. I feel ready to go out there and come home with a new car on my terms. 9:00 tomorrow I want you all thinking of me and chanting a battle cry

If my "father" were to have ever done that for my Mom, I think I'd have dropped dead. It's amazing how much of a difference they make and yet, how little it's enforced. At least here anyways.

Gut, as for the cell phone issue, if you are on your daughter's account, you can probably add a second line to the account without her being there. It may be cheaper that way; I added my parents' phone lines into my account and saved, over all, about $50 a month. You may also want to see if your school or teachers' union has a discount deal. I've worked both for a state agency and a private employer and they both had deals with the main cell provider around here (Cingular). Not that I endorse Cingular/ATT but I do endorse discounts!

That's 9 a.m. and I like the "go Gut!" as long as you're pronouncing it like "loot" and not like a flabby tummy .
