Heat pumps aren't all that from what I hear period! I'm not laughing either, currently in Milwaukee, WI it is FOUR yes FOUR degrees outside. When it hits 10 I will go for a walk.

It's currently 7 degrees here in Ohio this morning. I'm already so tired of winter.

My bones ache just reading your cold weather posts. It's 36 outside and I'm ready for winter to be over. If we get a light dusting of snow everything shuts down. What's this inches thing you all speak of?? Two or three years ago it snowed on Christmas Eve and everyone was in awe. It was the first time some of our adult neighbors saw snow falling. The snow of course didn't stick to the ground because it was too warm, but some of the outside furniture and plants looked a bit white for about 30 minutes.
One of these days I'll stop being sensitive. Until then, I'll continue to be devastated on a daily basis. Life breaks my heart.

Oh, it's not unusual here to get 6 inches of snow in two days. We have about an inch or two on the ground here right now.

The coldest that I've ever worked in was -10° F. It was one of the rare days that the wind was calm, so it was pretty manageable. I had an impressive amount of ice in my beard by the time we broke for lunch.

Heat pumps work very well for warmer climates, but once the temps get below a certain point, they do not work well at all.

It's currently 19 here this morning. But its supposed to warm back up by Sun. to the 50's. I can't wait.

The dogs don't even want to go out when its this cold and Rosie retreats to the bed under the covers when she is forced to go out for her bathroom break. Even with her coat on, she is COLD!

Let us know when you go for your walk.
