    Get well soon, MRD!

Being sick is never fun -- especially around the holidays!

But I hope you're able to milk this sucker for all it's worth --
getting some good rest and lots of TLC with tea or
    other healing beverages !

    Get well soon!

myrosiedog- Do whatever you need to get well. I'm sure Rosie, Bogie and Waldo will do anything to help you get well. Of course your hubby and daughter will also.

Thanks guys. I was snuggled down in bed with Rosie and Bogie when Waldo started barking his head off at the mailman. But at least I got a small nap.

MRD - I just made some killer chicken noodle soup. If you lived nearby, I'd bring you a bowl.
    Count your blessings!

Oh, I wish you did too. It's cold and rainy here and that would be fabulous.

I did put a pot roast in the crockpot this morning and hubby added the veggies when he got home because by then, I didn't care if meat was the ONLY thing on the menu.

I wanted to get to the drug store so bad this morning, but hte storm started. but we did get there, and of course the crutches slipped on the slush. didn't fall, but scared me. and I put the 'foot' down. didn't do any damage - just made me mad. Hubby is just stubborn about where he parks and I shouldn't complain cause he has been so helpful - but if I can't whine here - I have no place to.

hubby did grocery shopping last night and made some awesome chili that will last at least through the weekend.
too ugly outside to go anywhere for a few days. well pretty for Christmas, but the area is at a standstill.

Sorry, you've probably had enough caffiene by now to power half of Wisconsin. I got interuppted.

I'm asking you as you seem to have watched a lot of the same things I used to watch so I thought you'd know this one.

After watching the Ghost and Mr. Chicken yesterday, I recalled another ghost/comedy movie from the same era that the ghost was a sea captain. Do you remember that movie? It had an older woman in it too I think. (dim, dim memory).

I also caught The Incredible Mr. Limpett about a month or so ago. I LOVE Don Knotts!
