I'll be taking my kids to the airport this afternoon. Anyone with a prayer to spare, request a safe journey. My pilot daughter has to fly STAND-BY for her flight today or tomorrow. So she's the one I'm more worried about. I'll breathe a sigh of relief once I know they're all driving my mom crazy at her house.

I love my big fuzzy slippers except for one thing. I can't walk normally in them, so I kind of scuff along and every so often I end up tripping because I'm not picking my feet up. But they sure are warm.

I was singing that last night because my daughter wants us to buy the monopoly version of "A Christmas Story"
I told her if we bought it, I get dibs on the leg lamp token

I think it's new this year.

We put up our Christmas decorations the weekend after Thanksgiving and then on that Sun. night, we pop in the DVD of A Christmas Story and watch it with the tree lights glowing.

Daughter says we must buy the game (with her discount at Barnes and Noble. ) and now play that while we watch the movie.

One year Spencer's gifts were selling leg lamps and my husband almost bought me one. While it would have been funny. I think I would have had the same reaction as Ralphies mom to having that in my living room.

Gut, my prayers and good thoughts are with your family. So it's just going to be you and Dan for T-Day? I vote you drag him to one of the missions (if you have access) for the American experience of serving others on T-Day. They are usually looking for volunteers.
