Volunteering is so rewarding. I plan on retiring in 2-3 years, and when people ask me what I plan to do after I retire, I tell them I'm going to volunteer. I'll probably stay with Scouts, but you never know what else may come along.

I love to volunteer and I LOVE volunteers. I just think that as socially responsible citizens of this planet, that it is our responsibility to give to others in any way possible when we can and volunteering is such a great way to give. You rock!!!
That's very nice of you to say! Thank you.

I know somebody knows the answer to this. Who do you call when there is a crack in your house's foundation that lets water into your home when there is a heavy or prolonged rain? Just point me in the right direction!

Look in the Yellow Pages under "Foundation Contractors"

Has anyone here heard of Parkour? One of the contestants on Survivor China is a parkour athlete so I looked it up on youtube and it is amazing! Sort of like Xtreme skateboarding only on foot - climbing up the sides of buildings, leaping over things, jumping from heights. Check it out. There are dozens of clips. Very cool. I had never heard of it before.
    Count your blessings!

Gutmutter I had seen a new show on it a few years ago. I thought it looked awesome too. Apparently there are a lot of injuries in France stemming from it though so its already getting a bad name. When watching Survivor I noticed that the guy didn't even pause before he made the leap from the ropes into the wall. Then I found out he does this for fun so it made sense.

They did that in the beginning of Casino Royale. It does look really cool, but I don't think I'd dare to try it myself

If leaps of logic counted, I'd be an expert at Parkour. As it is, I have enough trouble falling out of bed in the morning, and my long-jump is shorter than my normal walking stride.
