    Re: FORT Koffee Klatch

I'm drinking loads of (decaf) green tea, AngelicOne, alternating it with red tea, white tea, and herbal tea. I've never been much of a tea drinker - too hooked on coffee - but I have to say I'm growing quite fond of the stuff. Mind you, if someone were to approach me with a gallon-sized mug of steaming, strong, freshly brewed coffee, I'd toss away the green tea in an instant.

I'm feeling much more energetic than I did this morning, so I'm hoping that my energy level will be up tomorrow or the day after that.

Decaf green tea can be a challenge to find, at least around here. If the goal of detox'ing is to definitely detox, green tea (as we mostly know it) would be out. However, it's fine after the detox stage is over.

Give it a try for a couple of weeks before make a decision. It might take awhile to work. Also if one doctor is not working try another. For the first few appointments try and be able to go home and rest after. It can make you tired and the treatment will take better if you can rest. Find a certified acupuncturist. Wow, thank you so much for the feedback, Mimzy. I plan on getting serious about this after we return from vacation next week, and I'll definitely let you all know how things pan out. I have nerve pain also, so hopefully that means this could be a viable solution for me.

Geek, good luck to you and Mr. Geek with the detoxing, although it sounds like a helluva way to begin a marriage.

Roseskid and Mimzy: I support accupuncture and other non-traditional medicines such as chiropractic, Reiki, massage, Brain Gym, energy balancing, reflexology, color balancing, aromatherapy, ...they are usually non-invasive and don't involve prescriptions for drugs. If it works without the side effects many have to endure with pills, I'm for it! Just make sure that the person who provides the service is properly accredited.

Think of it this way: if our marriage survives this, it'll stand for anything. Actually, we're both feeling pretty good right now. My first caffeine withdrawal symptoms are slowly fading, and as for the rest of the regime, it's really not all that different from our usual diet. Mr Geek has been a vegetarian for 13 years, and ever since I met him I tend to opt for healthier, veggie-based food, too. (I pig out on burgers and fries every once in a while, though - I'm only human, after all!)

Oh, me too. I'd much rather have the coffee than tea, if given the choice.

I just wanted to come in and give the eBay seller who is trying to double her posted shipping costs a big ole middle finger salute!
I want the frikkin bedspread but not for $50!
It's a twin, vintage cotton chenille - to go with my daughter's soon to be re-decorated 'Paris' room.
Now the seller is holding the spread hostage if I don't pay up. Well to her I say " there are plenty of other spreads in the sea!: :p
    Thanks for letting me vent

Duxxy, have you notified EBay about this? I would. They are very good resolving conflicts. It just might work, if you haven't already told her to jump in the lake!

P.S. There is no way a twin-sized chenille bedspread is going to cost $50 to ship, unless it is coming from Australia...or Mars!

    Re: FORT Koffee Klatch

oops the total price including shipping will be $50... $20 for shipping when the stated shipping in the listing was $9.26 - figure that out! Even shipping from Australia was only $30US.
I just sent her another email asking for the shipping correction. I WANT the spread at the stated price. Looks like I'm going to have to take non-paying bidder feedback and start looking for a new spread

I will contact eBay MamaC but we have to go through this b.s. first
