Has anyone been watching the (marathon) Princess Diana celebration today? That would be something to be there live! I miss Princess Diana. I miss how she could have continued to change the world.

I watched it! I thought it was awesome! My absolute favorites were Rod Stewart and Donny Osmond!!!

Diana would be so proud of her boys!

I recorded it and haven't seen Rod Stewart yet (I love him still ), but I thought the ballet and Andrew Lloyd Webber songs were just beautiful. I like that they mixed it up and didn't just highlight one type of music - I guess it comes from the idea that these were her favorite artists.

As to the henna art, I've been considering getting a tattoo for quite some time now. The image below is what it would look like. I thought it would be cool to do a henna tat first to try it out.

I second that. Very interesting design Uncle David. It looks like something to me, Rorschach test anyone but I'd love to know what it means.

As most of you are aware I'm an outdoor guy. The area I frequent almost every day is the high desert just outside Las Vegas. The Joshua Tree is the plant most associated with that environment, the Big Horn Sheep is the animal, and petroglyphs (rock art) are the images most associated with the native humans.

The image portrayed looks to me to be a stylized petroglyph of a Big Horn Sheep.

ETA: Here's a picture (altered to make it easier to see) of an actual Big Horn Sheep petroglyph. I took the photo of this petroglyph at Valley of Fire State Park outside Las Vegas.

Amy Lee, come on over to my house. We're going to BBQ a ton of food and I'll also be making my famous chocolate cake from scratch...and then we're going to see the fireworks!

If you could make me some veggie dogs and some veggie patties from Boca or Quorn
and i'll be at your mercy. I'm not a home body so i find it irritating being inside for the whole day, if i can be out for an hour or more then im good.
