Oh no! I'm so sorry captain! I have the same attitude, I'd rather laugh because crying won't help anything. I hope it's fixed soon.

Ouch, I feel you! I can just image how awful that is.

It is too late for the plumbers, neighbor helped shut off the water. The plumber will be here in the morning as I work the street corner to get $$

Before my fall from the roof, I'd have been the one in there (at my house) installing a new water. I have the best guy but he is not handy around the house at all. I love doing home repairs. I think every woman needs to know where all of the shut off valves are and how to turn them off and how to do basic home repairs.
I could fix your water heater, lay a tile floor and then go put new brakes on your car. I like that kind of work.
I taught my daughter all of that stuff. (the same daughter who has decided to stay with her cheating husband but that's a long story...sigh).

Good luck captain. I hope its fixed soon!

Oh no, I'm so sorry, captain. Our water heater once burst in our former home but we didn't know it immediately and by the time we found out, the water was at least ankle deep. It was a mess. But at least it was our basement, and not our living room.

Ours did years ago, and it was in our basement thank hank. I turned the water off, but damage had already been done
