ECM, I love them both!! oh yes I do. The second one is super, I would love that, and I always carry a wrap of some kind. Good choices

Beautiful EastCoastMom! They are both lovely and look like they would be very figure flattering. It sounds like you are going to have a ball.

This was in my "Don't Quote Me" puzzle this morning. I have chuckled about this all day!

Yes, we get a warning from "reverse 911" on the phone, and knocks on the door.
This stuff is no fun, but it appears to me that any place one lives has its ups and downs.
I hate what we're having now, but I'd much rather live here in California than my native Wisconsin. I'll take our not-so-greats over polar vortices, tornadoes, and 90°+ with 95+% humidity and mosquitos any day.

Now don't work too hard to make it sound so great in CA. Let them think it's terrible. We don't want even more people moving out here!

In all seriousness, I'd never live anywhere else. Maybe NYC if I had lots of money. Otherwise, I'm in for life. Just spent a beautiful day in SF. I can't imagine being very far away from the city.....or from Tahoe.

I don't know... when you've survived a tough winter and then spring arrives, you appreciate every flowering bulb, bush, and tree more deeply. The bird songs are music to your ears, and you run around with shorts and flip flops in 40 degree weather because it feels so warm.

Good MID-MORNING! everyone. I'm never here this time of day, but I have a doctor's appointment an hour away at 11:30 so I'm taking the day off work. I didn't set my alarm and still got up in time for my morning swim. I made another (eye) appointment over the phone, applied on-line for my professional licensure in the new area I'm teaching, and am generally getting things done that are hard to do during the work day. Such a luxury, not to mention a 3-day weekend! Students start getting a little wild toward the end of the school year and we still have 5 weeks left!
So my appointment today is for some sun damage on my face (nose and forehead). I've had it in the past and he has always frozen the spots, no problem. They form a scab and fall off, damage all gone. But of course there's always the worry that this time it could be something more serious. So if anyone is hanging around here and has a prayer to spare, I'd love the FORT rallying support I know I can always get here.

Well, I don't 'do' shorts and flip flops, and my winter wasn't that tough, except for the frigidity, but you really hit the nail on the head!

G'morning, Gutmutter! Sending up a prayer right now that all goes well and it is nothing serious.
