I am the A/C hog in this family ECM. I love it really cold at night..even now I open doors for awhile before we go to bed to smell fresh air.

I was excited this morning to see 43 degrees in the forecast for Monday next week! With the continuous cold weather, we have more snow piled up than usual. I want it to melt so I can get outside and exercise. I feel incredibly cooped up right now!!!

I am madly in love with my bedroom ceiling fan! Very refreshing!

I sleep with a fan on.

On another not mu hubs birthday was yesterday but we didn't get to do anything til today. He told me he wanted me to take him to a museum in Tulsa for his birthday so we got up this morning and I took him to Gilcrease Museum and then went ahead and took him to Wooloroc in Bartlesville. He enjoyed them a lot. A lot beautiful stuff on display. I would love to have a few of the bronze statues they had on display.

This is an issue I have with AC. For some reason stores, movies, restaurants, groceries, etc. feel that they have to have those darned things blasting full force with their icy air. They seem to think they are doing us a favor. They're NOT.

When I go into a restaurant in the Summer, I always check the table we are led to to see if there is an AC vent above or too near the table. If so, I request another table & tell them why. I've sat through many otherwise great meals in absolute agony because of the icy blast blowing at me.
The same goes for my favorite grocery store. I won't go in there in the Summer unless I have a sweater in the car to wear in. I'll shop somewhere else where I'm not being tortured by overdoing the AC. I've complained & told them this, but nothing happens.

I hear you. Last summer I sat at a table under a vent, I was so cold, I was miserable . I take a wrap with me now

I don't have or need AC. I live in one big AC climate. 70 degrees average all year round. My house is well insulated and we seldom have to put the heater on. When we have those 3-6 HOT days a year we just retire to our bedroom in the back of the house where we have no direct sun. I truly, dooly feel for those of you who suffer from weather below 30 or above 80 (or worse, both!) but I'm another one intolerant of cold or hot, so I'm staying right where I am except when I vacation in warm places in the Spring, when it's not yet too hot. (Not cold places, AZ, though I can see your attraction for Alaska and San Francisco in the Summer.)

Gee Punkin, I had no idea San Francisco was so temperate. If 70 is the average yearly temp, what kinds of temperatures do you get in the winter? You really don't need to put on the heat? Sounds like heaven to me. One of these days I will get to visit California. I've a cousin who lives in Martinez...I think that's not too far from you, right?
