Mr. Sweetie, lovingly, sent me chocolate covered strawberries yesterday! Must have been a special on.
Warm here too - should hit the 72 degrees here.

    Mr Sweetie? Do tell!

Get this....it's supposed to be close to 80 degrees on Sunday in Raleigh, NC! I'm supposed to attend my aunt and uncles 50 Wedding Aniversary Reception. It looks like I'll pull my short sleeve tops out and sandals! This is just too crazy!

I sent off 15 cards today to the address you posted JavaJo. I just wish I could have sent some gifts too.
Hopefully we'll all help them have a happier holiday.

Yesterday was the last day of school for almost 2 weeks and of course the kids were off the wall - but in a fun way. Then I had my Little Sister time. When I got home, I brought some stuff in from the car, turned on the tv and closed my eyes "for a minute". fast forward to 3 a.m. when I woke up fully awake and rarin' to go! I made coffee and breakfast, decided to go ahead and put all the ornaments on the tree (cats show no interest in climbing it), and wrapped ALL of my Christmas presents and put them under the tree. Ho ho ho! This was all before 9 a.m. Now I'm going to make a dump run and see if there's anything else I can cross off my list. Or I'll just pat myself on the back and read the rest of the day.

I have never understood why people are up at 3 am! That is usually my best, best, best sleep time. A lot of times, people are up at that hour raising hell and creating chaos. I know, I know....our clocks run differently. I am one of those people who liked to get to work early (6 am) and get out of there early. There is something about missing all of that morning-afternoon rush hour traffic and school buses. I had a 2:30 hair appointment last week, and I had the worst time getting there! School buses, kids in their cars, work hours............no thank you!

It's raining here too, nennie. Been raining since early this morning and very mild temps. Could reach into the 50's today.
