I thought the video was adorable. I don't think there's anything wrong with it at all. I also don't think dogs or puppies stink either.
When my granddaughter was about 2 months old, my daughter and I put her on a blanket on the floor to take pictures. My late boy Harley got on the blanket and curled himself around her and they both slept that way for 2 hours. It was adorable and my granddaughter didn't stink afterwards.
Harley loved her and cuddled with her until he died. He's been gone more than a year, my granddaughter is 5 now and she still cries because she misses him and is "worried" about him.

My dogs stink. My little long haired chihuahua sweats and he stinks to high heaven. Gets a bath and starts sweating all over and walla he stinks again. When they are out running in the summer they stink like wet dogs. Does that mean they don't get hugs nah they get them then are told you stink.

I love my kitty cat, Squirt, but his breath does stink. My vet said I should brush my cat's teeth but I don't see him holding still for me to do that. I love him anyway when he gives me stinky kisses.

So why do parents compare the way their children smell, after playing all day, to stinky puppies?? I've heard people say this for years!

    And these are dog people!

And THEN, they are off to the bath to be made better!

As the mother of felines, I will admit that their breath can knock you over.

"Stinky puppies"? I've never heard that expression, nor have I heard anyone compare their children to a smelly puppy. A dog? Yes, but not a puppy. I've never come across a puppy that smelled bad. In my experience, little boys can smell MUCH worse than any puppy.

Plus kids love stinky smells. I walked in on a co worker who had just got a call from her sister who was babysitting her kids. She told the sister to put her kids on. She told her 7yr old son to quit farting in his sisters face. Then she told her 3yr old daughter to stop smelling her brothers farts. I laughed so hard at her. She was like what is wrong with my kids.

Puppy breath is the only "stinky" smell I enjoy.
