I get that the stores have to get a head start on the holidays for financial reasons, but I went to the local discount store yesterday and the whole main area where you first walk in was a SNOW display!!!... shovels, bags of ice melt, sleds, etc. Yes, we've had bad snow storms early in the season some years, but it hit me worse than the 8 aisles of Christmas drek that followed it.
Oh, and my favorite "Christmas" substitute for YEARS was "X-cess".

This time change has me, consistently, waking up right before 6 a.m. It's usually in the vicinity of 5:50 a.m. It's just bizarre.

I've been waking up around 4:00 a.m. and can't get back to sleep! I've been getting some work done, so I guess it's not all bad.

I've been waking up really early since the time change too, prhoshay.

I want to take my eyeballs out and scratch them!!!!

I'm too ornery to go downstairs and use Nora. I took a pill, instead.

Here's a fun discussion question: What was your favorite birthday, so far, and why??

Mine was 40!! Everything came together in my head and my life.....finally!!! It was like magic! That was also the year I got divorced....also, one of my better, smarter moves. It was the year that I took control, as much as one can, of my life. It was just goooood!!! The confidence was not in question anymore. It was just a great year!

I wake up at 5.00 am, and that's it. No wonder I fall asleep during the day- dang time change
