I'm agnostic or atheist. My mom is a believer but I don't think she classifies herself. But we like Christmas too.

So by the way, I went to the gym again today. Tried out new equipment. I'm not getting in shape just yet.

And I may or may not see Kelly Clarkson in person.

I've also decided that I will try to control my temper for today.

If I am pissed off I'll just say I'm pissed off. No need to explanations.

Yes I was Vanellope Von Schweetz from Wreck It Ralph. Mike went as Ralph. I'll get his pic and post it too.. I think that worked!

Thanks CCL - I'm using Tapatalk and trying to get the hang of it. A pretty neat app! I just saw Johnny's response and then yours but didn't know how to combine them. :-D

I had a lot of fun with this costume!!

But most of all I love the Nativity sets & the REAL Christmas carols, you know, the ones about peace on earth, the birth of Jesus, angels, all that stuff.

I know most of the stores & the media keep trying to cover that up & distance themselves from it by calling it the nameless mystery "holiday", even a "holiday tree" claiming that they don't want to "offend anyone" Who the heck is offended by Christmas?!? Say the word. It won't kill you. When someone says "Happy Holidays" to me I answer with "Merry Christmas". You'd be surprised how many people smile & respond the same.
I get so fed up with the media, stores & some people ignoring the name of the day that by the end I'm referring to it as "The Annual Festival of Greed".

I know not everyone is Christian or believes or cares about Christ, but I enjoy seeing people celebrating days I know nothing about or don't celebrate myself. Why can't everyone? It's like saying "Happy Birthday" to someone you don't know, or don't care for, just because you know it's their birthday & it might make them smile.
I think it's just nice to see people celebrating & having something to celebrate.
Y'know my Muslim friends in France celebrate Christmas because it's a fun, beautiful part of the culture and their adopted country (their words).
Why does our stupid country make things so damned complicated?

It's great and I like that you had a "Ralph" too.

Same reason our stupid country does.

    Which "stupid country" is yours?

    I think it is.

    I'm in Canada.

    It's not bad.

    For the most part.

    It's not perfect. For sure.

Especially in the city I'm in. Where I find most people to be useless.

And also, I have a bad habit of taking a lot of things personally.

Like when I feel ignored, I take it personally. When anything else happens, I take it personally.

    Like I stated before.
