Don't you have a really good book you can spend some time with and that is missing you???

Hoping things have picked up a little by now.

Have to tqke the dog out for a minute ... and then off to bed.

Just popped in to say Good Night and be well.

    May your day be sweeter!

So, tonight, I went to a comedy club for the first time.

    I enjoyed it.

It's better than being in a bar where I have no clue what to do.

Laughter is the best medicine, they say. I enjoy going to comedy clubs, too. We go a few times a year, in fact, and make a whole evening out of it, with dinner first. The clubs by me send me coupons for free admission on select dates and all I have to do is purchase 2 drinks. Hubs and I are not big drinkers so I will order a specialty coffee and water and he will have iced tea. Nothing like a big belly laugh to make you feel all is right with the world.

Most of the material was really edgy and I don't think I can post it on here

What I like about comedians is that they can work with whatever is given to them. Someone in the audience shouts something out, and the guy on stage doesn't even have to think about what to do with it. He works with it naturally.

I also shook hands with one of them on the way out. His name is Adam Ray. Apparently he was in a Sandra Bullock movie but looking it up, he's not listed in the credits.
