That's good advice Baby's Breath. Sometimes people are difficult to understand.

I have tried to keep a positive attitude today, but have been reminded of this date. 9/11 will always cause an ache in my heart. I said a pray for the country and all that lost so much.

Well, thanks. I guess I don't purposely try to hurt others just for the sake of it, but I express my frustration in ways sometimes that I would think are, you know, hateful.

The AGT threads are still a good example. *sigh* I've made judgements on the public. I've called them ignorant. I've called them extremely close-minded. Etc. That's what bothers me so much.

Any time now? I heard something about it being a different and expanded formulation this year.

Any time! Call wherever you do your flu shot business. I did! Dr. Bessser (GMA) got his last week, so I called. M-F 8a-4p, for me.

Shoot, I wish I had thought of getting a flu shot when I was at the doctor's office a few weeks ago. The flu shot is free if I get it there. There's a charge if I get it at CVS. I'll call my doctor's office tomorrow and see if I can come in just to get the shot or if I'll have to make an appointment.

People from 6 months up are recommended to get the shot. Below age 50, you qualify for the nasal mist/spray. The shot was a total breeze last year (no soreness or after effects), and I am not a "shot girl", if I can avoid it.

The library where I tutor sounded like a TB ward today only 2 3 weeks into the school year. Stupid Kaiser Permanente doesn't get the vaccines in until mid- to late-October, as a rule. With an immunocompromised husband, I need the damn vaccine sooner rather than later.
The $30 out-of-pocket at Rite-Aid, CVS, or wherever is worth it to me it costs less than time missed from work (neither hubby nor I get sick pay).
