Alice Cooper is great in that regard. Depp, not so much.
No, Depp not talking is no surprise, WTG Alica Cooper

Here's a discussion that I got into with "the girls" last weekend: Is it ever a good idea to go back to someone that you were in a relationship with before? My side of the coin says I don't go back where I've already been....I left for a reason. I'm one of those "been there, done that" women!

Opinions were all over the place, as you can well imagine.

    Chime in, FoRT Family!

p.s. Not that it can't ever work, but what is the liklihood?

I just saw an article that said in the case where divorced people remarry each other, the success rate of the second marriage is 72%. Better than I expected to read!

I wonder how long they looked at them to determing when you can call it a "success". I guess you do go into it knowing more than you knew before and, hopefully, older and wiser.

Everytime I went back to an ex, it ended in disaster. There is one that I don't regret trying again, but it still ended horribly and I'm not sure why.

My aunt and uncle divorced and remarried and still together after about 24 or so years. I think they are an exception though. I guess it does happen. I am not even friends with ANY of my ex husbands. Not even going to try any of that nonsense.
there are only 2 ex husbands. hahaha!

I'm glad you added that there were only two, because I was wondering after you said "ANY"!

My rule is "never go back," but I grew up with someone who's parents divorced when we were kids and then remarried a number of years later. They stayed together for over 20 years, until his father passed.

I don't know that Johnny Depp was being rude. I think he's very shy and maybe he didn't want to steal Alice Cooper's thunder.

Just out of curiosity, I sent my daughter a quick note asking whether she thought Johnny was rude or just shy. Her response: "I think maybe he just wasn’t given the opportunity….like if they had asked him I think he would have said something……they really should have just had him thank Alice and mention again the wonderful charity we were all supporting…..so no, not rude."

I broke up with Mr. Rattus twice while we were dating, obviously got back together with him, and we've been married for 25 years. And we're both still friends with the ex-Mr. Rattus. In fact, most people I know are still friends with their assorted exes.
