Shay, I'm a firm believer in touch. When my mother was in the ICU after her emergency surgery, my aunt, my grandmother and myself all surrounded her and put our hands on her, telling her to pull through and come back to us. When she woke up a couple of days later, she said she could tell we were there and felt our touch even under heavy sedation.
Victor's scans were all good. His CT showed no significant changes in the lung spots so they are stable. We would have loved to have heard they shrunk or disappeared, but no change is also very good. His echo showed his heart is perfect. No damage from the chemo! Tuesday we will find out what the next step is. We may have surgery or just oral maintenance chemo to keep the cancer from coming back.
