Gutmutter!!! I'm so happy for you!

You're pretty close to the epicenter, so I would expect you did.
I didn't feel it as much as the others, but our news had it on for hours.
Oh yeah! It wasn't all that strong, but it lasted a bit longer than usual. It started with a jolt, then there was a second "wave" that felt like someone was stomping on the floor for about a half a minute or so (I'm sure it was actually shorter than that). Though according to the geologists at CalTech, that's to be expected as the faults around here look to be getting more seismically active.

I've been on vacation, so just back and was so confused as to why someone could steal not only your avatar but your lines too! I did realize that probably hadn't happened, but glad to have it all confirmed

Unk that potato chip thing was cool. I'll have to try it. I've stapled bags shut before.

    Gut that is GREAT news!

    Re: FORT Koffee Klatch

Wasn't sure where to put this, but here seems as good a place as any: If anyone is planning to get or renew a passport anytime soon, or add extra pages or anything, the fees are going up on Tuesday. A renewal is going up from $75 to $110 (I don't remember for a new one but I think it's a similar increase because I'm not sure the facility fee has changed) and extra pages, currently free, will soon cost $82. I'm taking my family's renewals/page requests to the post office this afternoon. As long as it's postmarked by Monday, you get current prices.

In a related note, when I googled passport photos yesterday, I saw a coupon for $2 off passport pix at CVS.

Glad you're OK. Seems like they're all still aftershocks from Calexico.

That potato chip bag was really something else Unk. So simple, yet who would ever think to do it. That will be a good reason for me NOT to eat the whole bag just so I can try it. I can't have a bag of chips or any munchies in my house, I'll eat them, no willpower when it comes to snackies. If I breakdown and buy a bag while picking up groceries, it will be gone within a couple of days!

Sometimes, you should just indulge yourself....just because! No guilt!!

And I have tried the potato chip bag folding technique, and I can't get that last tuck to save myself!! This is the kind of thing I'll keep doing until I get it.\
    Annoying!!!

I tried it and couldn't do it... but I gave up 'shay, cause I had the bag clip right there.
I started a new piece of art work today - a fabric collage. I'm very excited. I haven't done one in a while and they used to be my bread and butter. This one is a mandala with the main fabric a metallic copper, gold, black, and rose and a printed fabric picture of a dozing princess in the center. The theme being "Life is but a Dream". The hand stitching is very therapudic and this one is going to be a masterpiece. It will be the focal point for one of the rooms in my new home and I have enough of the metallic brocade fabric to use it for pillows, pouf cover, or any other accent I want in the room. Very excited to be starting a new piece.
    Count your blessings!
