Muduh - they have "the biggest sale of the season" oh, about every 4 days or so.

They also have online shopping with 99cent shipping a lot at Kohls.com

I just found that out when we were there buying the clearance slip covers! I asked if they had any and she said no, but I could bring back the receipt and up to 5 of those 20% off coupons and they would credit back the difference. I said but the sign says, $4.99 and she said oh, that is for tomorrow's sale but I'll give them to you at the $4.99 price.

I also stopped on the way home to pick up a Sonic Cream Slush.

PGM35 - Sounds like you had a good and productive day - with a bonus bargain!

My news for the day: I'm heading up the mountain to the casinos tomorrow. Wish me luck!
I only go once or twice a year to visit the money I left last time and to drop off a little more. But I usually have fun and the weather/scenery is worth the trip, not to mention a day off for the heck of it.

But it seems you find better deals in the store but online shopping at Kohls is good too.

I'll have the check the slipcovers out. I'm thinking of getting a new couch and loveseat but that will be awhile.

The one with the ties on front, and the piping around the arms and across the front is the one my son has. It has really held up well. It needs washing again but that's no big deal. I will probably take it to the laundramat for him.

Kohls store for us is about 30 miles away, but I do go every now and then.
We have a new store called Burlington..which has even more clothes than Kohls now, and is cheaper.

I guess you know by now that the expiration date on the 20% off coupon doesn't matter! I'll bet you also know that they'll take the 20% off the cheapest items in the group that you are purchasing, which is OK, too. Taking a friend/hubby can definitely be an advantage! Spread the loot out between the two of you, after you figure your best advantage! This particular packrat, ME, probably has coupons dating back several years...and I have no idea why. Other things got thrown away, but not those particular coupons. They say God takes care of fools and babies...at this point in my life, I guess I fall into catagory #1!!

I just love hearing about people getting fantastic shopping bargains!!! Congratulations, PGM35!!!!

Do I need to take measurements of my furniture before I go shopping? Or do they just come in standard "one size fits all" sizes? My dogs are licking the cushion on the sofa (Ew) so I think it's really time to start looking for something.
