And if the solicitation at home and over the phones wasn't enough we actually have it when you go out to eat here! Ever since I moved to the city I currently moved to every single time I go to a sit down returant these flower ladies come in and walk around to every table trying to get you to buy a rose for 3 or 4 bucks. It's annoying! If I were a resturant owner I would kick them out and tell them never to come back to harrass my customers, but they are everywhere in town!

How about when you are checking out at Best Buy and they try to get you to buy magazine subscriptions? Grrr...if i want a magazine I will buy one. I come to Best buy for electronics.

Sombebody tell me why a college educated guy between 30-40 doesn't want to move out of his parents' home. He has 2 brothers, with families, in other states. I'm pretty sure that he's never had a real girlfriend, or buddies that he hangs out with. If I call his mother and he answers the phone, it's hard to get him off the phone. Both parents are healthy and working, so he's not there to take care of them.

Perhaps they keep him in the standard of living to which he's become accustomed?

My guess is that if he's like a certain family member of mine (not one in MY house), his mother cooks, cleans and does his laundry for him. The house is a fairly nice one and all the bills are paid. He lives rent free and his parents foot the grocery bill and his money is spent on video games and himself. With a cushy setup like that, I wouldn't move out either!!!!

Well, he's not "the little prince", but he's not uncomfortable either.

I just can't imagine wanting to live with your parents instead of getting your own place where you can do exactly what you want and don't have anyone to whom to answer.

I do know that he is a responsible person who does not get into or cause trouble...well-read and intelligent. He's the youngest of 3. As far as I know, they never complain that he is there. No children. This is just wierd. He did live at college when he was there. Goes to church (a big one) and participates in activities there.

Oh well...I guess it's really none of my business. It just seems abnormal.
