    Thanks Shay.

So the weather here today...98 degrees and 108 heat index.

We're supposed to hit 90 in the upper midwest today, with crazy dewpoints well up into the 70s!

OK, you made me go find a dew point chart...our dew point yesterday was 88--90 degree temp and 80% humidity. And it's only June. If this pattern holds, we will be back to 'normal' weather here, which we haven't seen in five years or more. meaning, 90 or more temperature and 85% or more relative humidity will be the rule, not the exception, until September. I hate summer in the Southeast.

Me too. I try and go out around 5:00 am and do my outdoor chores and by 10:00 am , I'm drenched in sweat. I'm afraid we are in for a hot humid July- October. The heat and humidity seems to bother me more the older I get.
Our heat index has been at 100 and over.

You must be down south. It is 78 right now in good 'ole South Dakota and everyone I work with thinks they are dying of heat stroke! Seriously, it is like a Mexican vacation in the building, fans, shorts (they only let us wear shorts when the weather is terribly hot), ice...

Cali, I believe that living in SDak makes just about everybody live "in the south" from where you are! I am midwest. My hatred of summer is nothing new. It's been a lifelong project!

Haha, that is true!! My co-worker in the desk next to me has a hand fan (like the Chinese ones) and it has a cartoon old woman on it with a speech bubble saying "Hot Flash Fan". I'm still giggling about it

That is gross, you have my sympathy. It starts getting really uncomfortable here when the dewpoints hit 70 and just gets worse from there.
