    Re: FORT Koffee Klatch

This being only my 3rd year to do so, I have waited to move my clothes around (I store my winter sweaters and bring out the spring stuff as I don't have room in my closet for everything), I keep thinking, ok, it's safe to switch the clothes around, but then we get rain and colder temps. So I will wait just a bit longer.

Wow, I haven't thought about it but you are right. I might have resources to check on her.

Going to snow tomorrow because I just packed away my sweaters, turtlenecks, jackets, etc. So figure the weather will laugh at me and turn miserably cold.

My dogwoods are blooming though. Very pretty.

MRD, you should never put everything up until after Tax Day. It will freeze or at least frost very heavily again, at least one more time count on it. The plant sellers sure do--if they can get people to install their summer veggies now, they can sell them a whole new set about the third week of April. Mark my words. (And, if not--well, I have jinxed myself by making the prediction, but won't have to freeze again!)
I have found the Truth and it doesn't make sense.

You are so right qb...we never plant until after the 15th. Every year I see people buying flowers and vegetable plants and want to say no... the ground is not warm enough yet.

6 inches is a lot of us (near Kansas City) as usual we didn't get any snow yet but some ice. Sounds like it is a lot worse for you Newf. Someone in the grocery store said they got 18 inches in Hutchenson Ks this afternoon.
I very much believe in rescuing animals, not buying them.

We lucked out. I doubt that I have more than 6", and it was sunny and above freezing this afternoon, so the roads are coming along nicely. My ex-wife lives about 20 miles farther east, and she reported about 10" and a near white-out for a while today

It's only going to be rain by the time it hits here.
