Pardon me, but when the English hunt, they do it in suits with ties and everything.
Not everyone that hunts looks like Larry the Cable Guy.
And Ellen, you know you want this magazine. I've been trying to find you one, but I can't find it sold on the magazine racks. I read the ones in the breakroom at work.

"Upscale hunting stuff" is what I get when I go to the meat counter in a fancy-schmancy grocery store!![]()

I'm going to look for that one so I can get my son a subscription. He will think he's died and gone to heaven.Originally Posted by myrosiedog;3394595;
I checked out the magazine and I'm ordering it for me and then he can have it. It is a great magazine. Go read that recipe for crab cakes. mmmmm

Oh, you guys are too funny. In fact the feed store is down the street from me and I never thought to go look in there. I've been wanting to go in there anyway and check out the stuff for spring.
Kind of on topic, but I've been reading a book about The South and politics for class and a lot of the stuff I've been reading makes so much sense and why the South is always the butt of jokes and the rest of the country look down on us, etc., and why that is erroneous thinking from those outside the South, so look out, I am getting my arguments ready for the next time!![]()

I'm sorry, the title of Garden and Gun just cracks me up. And I do like magazines as well, Bon Appetit, and lately, Cooking Light which is helpful in that it lists the nutrition info (and the stuff I've made has actually been pretty good). Also love New York magazine, though I usually go to their website. The occasional issue of People or US Weekly definitely slips in-- for some reason, I find US Weekly's section, "The Stars: They're Just Like Us!" amusing.
