Ouch! That's one awful night of clean up! I guess it depends on if it is a reoccuring problem or a one time thing. Mine has done it before when I've put too much soap in.

We've had a few that have done that but it was usually due to lack of use. The seals get dry and once the water is filling inside, it can't hold the water and it all leaks out.
    Yup, with donuts!!

could be dried out seals from no use, could be a loose hose clamp, could be a hole in a hose, could be bad door gasket, could be a pump seal has failed, could be.... Suggest you call a service person or in this day & age of cheap, buy a new one.

I was getting into my car this morning and I konked my head but good on the top of the door. How do you get in and out of a car every day of your life and then one day do something that clumsy? I can't figure it out!
    Count your blessings!

I've done it countless times, too, and I don't consider myself at all clumsy. S**t happens, it seems.

probably the same reason I can go in my lighted bedroom, with the furniture in the same places it has been for years - and stub my toe on the foot of the bed.

I have done that several times over the years. I'm not even sure how many any more. Several times it's really hurt too. Sometimes I know why, trying to squeeze into a tight space so misjudge the top of the door, being too tired and therefore apparently off on my balance. Otherwise sometimes I just knock my head and wonder WTH is the matter with me. Normally I'm not that clumsy but those other days... Were you more tired than normal as I have figured out that seems to be my biggest problem?

eta, hope you are feeling ok. I've knocked myself hard enough to give myself a headache.
