Well, snow in GA yesterday, and close to 80 by Sunday. Ya gotta love it!

Bunny, how did you fare with the snow today?

We were really unaffected by it, as it was south of Albany and I am north of Albany. We only got about 3-5 inches. But it is mighty cold out with below zero wind chills.

took me 1.5 hrs to get here because no buses were running and the subways are slow. normally my commute is 30 mins
    but its pretty out
Wow, your subways were slow? Mine was faster because with schools closed, ridership was down. I guess there were a few delays but on my line, we usually just call that rush hour.

We got about 14 inches but it wasn't wet, heavy snow so it cleaned up pretty easily. The temps are now well below freezing here too so we'll see if we have a snow delay for school tomorrow.

MOst of ours melted off the trees, roads and power lines, but we still have a lot in the yard. Classes were delayed this morning at my school for 2 hours and they closed the regular schools again today because of icy roads. 50,000 were without power here, but it's back on now. Fortunately it wasn't affecting us, but we did lose our phone for a bit. STupid AT&T

Don't panic, FEMA has been alerted and is standing by.

It is supposed to be around 30 today here and near 40 tomorrow, so that should help take care of the snow we got last week. My glimmer of spring today is the increasing number of birds outside!! We definitely have a wider variety of birds returning and I can hear them singing in the morning when I leave for work. It may be cold, but this is a sure sign for me that spring is not far off!!
