Well, shoveling was miserable (except for the music on my iPod). I fell twice - once onto my knees without any apparent damage and once my feet flew out and I landed flat with most of my weight on my upper right arm and chest where all my surgery scars are. I ache all over, but nowhere specific, so I guess I lucked out. It took me several hours and I came in wet and exhausted. I've been reading ever since. I can't seem to get the energy up to do anything else.
    Count your blessings!

Gut, that's awful. Take it easy the rest of the day. You're more woman than I am, no way would I have even attempted it.

You relax for a day or two. If I could I would fly east to help you, but I have to work, and besides Joey would not be too happy without me here.

Okay, I'm late to this discussion, but I'm wondering if anyone here has tried the newer generation of epilators? I am referring to the ones that look more like the pics that Unk posted up-thread that are supposed to work more like tweezing. I highly prefer waxing to shaving/hair removal creams. Since waxing doesn't bother me, I've been curious if I could use an epilator but I don't know of anyone who has tried them since the days of the original Epilady which was, by all accounts, simply a torture device!

    It's just disgusting isn't it?

I've had cupcakes on the brain all day. (I even made some) Thanks a lot Donny Trump.

Gutmutter take it easy there girl! I'm serious. The snow will still be there next time you go out, you don't have to get it all done in one outing!
The snow we got Saturday is almost all gone already. It got up to 40 here.

I've got cake on my mind! It's killing me!

I refuse to shovel snow! If my son is not here to do it, I'll either wait for Mother Nature to take care of it, or throw money at somebody walking down the street to do it.

Or, maybe I can wait until my next door neighbor gets sick of looking at it, feels sorry for me, and does it. Gotta love him!

It was 75ºF and sunny today over here! But the weather is going to get really bad and blustery later this week: 65ºF and 20% chance of sprinkles.
