The Zacster has great taste in music. Hope the cold clears up soon. Queenb's right, what's going around here is nasty.
I wish you were my grandpa!![]()

I'm glad you had such a good time with Zac, Unk. I bet he kicked your butt at Wii.
This may be a dumb question, but I'm going to ask it anyway. How do you know how many songs can you burn on a CD?
"...each affects the other, and the other affects the next, and the world is full of stories, but the stories are all one." - Mitch Albom, one helluva writer
When you throw a rock into a pack of dogs, you know which one you hit by the one that yelps!
It all depends on the size of the songs. Before you begin to burn, you can put them all into the que and it will tell you how much space you have left or if you've gone over.
Yup, with donuts!!
It also depends on if you are burning them in a data format to back up what is on your computer or if you are burning them as audio, like to listen to in a CD player. I find that if I am burning music to play as an audio CD I can typically fit around 17 to 22 songs depending on the length. If you are just backing up in data format you can fit tons more than that. Like buglover said, if you put too many songs in the list you are burning the software will tell you if you are over them limit so can can remove songs until it gets down to an acceptable size.Originally Posted by prhoshay;3305727;
Unklescott - I'm glad to hear that Zac is out of the hospital. He sure looks good, considering what the poor kid has had to go through. He sure is lucky to have such a loving grandpa.
Last i recall, you'd queue up a couple of songs, if they were green, they were good to go, but when they weren't going to fint into the cd, they were red or they'd get red when the scanner got to them. I say this because i'd usually burn using Windows Media Player.Originally Posted by prhoshay;3305727;

The program I use to burn tells me how much space is gonig to be used and if I have any leftover. Don't ask me what it is, it came on teh computer.

probably roxio or something
Yeah, WMP has Roxio software. I can't recall the last time i burned a cd, that's because i've fully moved onto my Sansa. There are so many choices out there too. I went from interest in the Bean, to the YP-T8 and then Sansa.
