I just read about "tricks" that grocery stores use to get you to spend more money. They've starting laying in bigger carts so that you will buy more. Last week, I saw a little cart that was designed for you to place your little plastic handbasket on.......and there was a second level on that same cart so that you could add another plastic handbasket!! Unbelievable!!! Foul!! Foul!!

I actually prefer this set up to the regular grocery cart, especially in Fresh Market, because I can still push a cart (I like that for some reason) and not fill it up with expensive Fresh Market goodies. It makes me stop sooner.

My hubby wanted to surprise me with some comedy act tickets for tonight. He got them for free. I went online and after a ton of searching, the comic's act is geared for college aged kids.... not that I don't find young stuff funny but it's a "HIP HOP" theme and I just know that somehow something is going to happen to upset him and I don't even want to attempt to do it. I let him know and we aren't going. We don't do well in bar type situations because he flips out when men stare at me and try to buy me drinks.... well, most of you already know this...

Ask him if he'd be more comfortable going to a bar where the men stare and offer to buy drinks for HIM

Newf we have a bar like that here but they also have my same sex who would be hitting on me so it's a no go. When he gets a little more secure with himself, we can relax I'm sure.
