Unk, you and Zac look great. So glad to hear that he is feeling better.

The picture is great, Unk. Zac is one lucky kid to have a grandpa like you.
Let Zac know we're all thinking of him. Poor tyke. He's lucky to have you.
Count your blessings!
Great picture Unk! Which one is Zac?
Seriously though, I'm sending you hugs and kisses and the best of best wishes! Love Zac's shirt - Tricks are for _____. Can't quite see the last word, is it "kids", like the old Trix commercial? Silly Wabbit!![]()
I enjoy the escapism of reality television. Beats the heck out of worrying about your REAL life!!
My trees are so ice-laden that they glitter like Swarovski crystals if the sun shines on them. Beautiful, but enough is enough.

When you throw a rock into a pack of dogs, you know which one you hit by the one that yelps!
Do any of you have great ideas for what we could take to firefighters as a gift. Our ladies group at church is having a meeting at one of the local firehouses. They have a meeting room. We used it once last year, and ended up giving them some chocolate chip cookies. I'm not even necessarily looking for food ideas although those are good too. Thanks in advance for your ideas.
How about a nice framed certificate or poster or something that reads something like Thank You for what you do?
Maybe some coffee variety and mugs?
how about magazines or other reading material. I know a firefighter and he says that they get really bored when all chores are done and there are no fires to fight and they get really tired of watching tv. They also play cards and other games a lot. Even puzzles and puzzle books might be good.

Maybe you could find out what charities the firefighters at that firehouse support and make a donation in their name. We have a local firefighter group that has an annual "Blankets & Bears" fundraiser. They ask people to donate blankets and stuffed animals and then give them to children who have lost everything in fires. Also - a donation to a hospital that specializes in helping burn victims would probably be appreciated. I'm sure that they will love whatever you decide on!![]()
