I never realized how much insulation my hair provided until it was gone.

For my family that's not a bad thing. We always said they should make half loaves.

Actually, they do. Orowheat has half loaves of some of their more popular breads. It's perfect our family of two!

I was reading Dear Margo this morning and one person asked, "when did it become socially acceptable for adult men and women to chew gum with their mouths open and constantly "crack" their gum?"
My 58 yr old mother in law does this. She is never without a peice of gum, chewing like crazy, and making little cracking noises. We went to a funeral last year and she was sitting on the other side of the aisle from us. I elbowed my husband and looked at his mom. She was chewing away and we could hear the little cracking noises. Thank goodness she at least had the good manners to try and muffle the pops. It doesn't really bother me. I find it more ammusing then annoying. But the woman who wrote the letter to Margo probably would have fainted if she'd seen my mil at the funeral.

Oh, man -- that bugs the hell outta me. As do people (such as my DH) who take such a big mouthful of food that they cannot chew all of it with their mouths closed, but have to open their mouths after a few chews and let out those nauseating smacking sounds. What's so difficult about taking small bites? Uggggghhhhh!!!!

You look very sharp Unk. My husband just shaved his head and now he's wearing stocking caps all the time. I'm thinking of getting him a Fedora for Christmas for those times when he needs to look a tad more dressed up.
