I think I got it! My phrasing was sort of negative, but the sentiment about keeping my piano lessons was responsive

I gave up luxuries already, so there isn't anything left to hang on to at the moment except maybe I'll not give up internet or satellite tv unless I really have too.

I will not give up my children. It was tempting when the market started to slide, but I've held firm. I'm proud of myself for sticking with it.
One of these days I'll stop being sensitive. Until then, I'll continue to be devastated on a daily basis. Life breaks my heart.

I don't believe I actually answered, but my long-winded yammering about my tooney collection was more or less saying that I will not, under any circumstances, give up putting my tooneys aside, no matter how tough things get. I get a perverse, Scrooge McDuck quality of glee when I count them occasionally.

And while I was showering, I remembered that I will not give up my French soap or the weekend trips required to get it.

I won't give up coloring my hair with L'Oréal -- because I'm worth it!

Oops! I didn't read far enough upthread. I'm not giving up Netflix, Big Gulps at 7-11 and coloring my hair every 3 months

    I love it.

i will not give up my dogs. If we all have to eat dog food together, then so be it! But that is one thing I won't give up. (oh and my child too. Like Burntbrat said. )

I haven't had a beer in over 3 weeks! and before that I had a couple and it had been about 3 weeks before that.

Not that I decided to quit drinking, but I just haven't been in the mood for it. (I guess that's better than drinking TOO much while the country goes to hell in a handbasket. )

I will NOT give up Joeys special foods either, even if I need to eat noodles and ketchup
