In Columbus we have Red White And Boom downtown. Typically around 500,000 people show up. It's quite a party along the riverfront. I haven't been for quite a few years as I have to be at work at 7 a.m. My restaurant gets quite busy around 11 tonight as the crowds going home stop to get a bite to eat.
We won't be having any red, white and BOOM here as I decided against serving baked beans.
I really wanted to go to the festivities downtown and the fireworks, but we are going to do low key. Besides, my dogs need me. Tomorrow is their most feared day of the year. Already they have hated the neighborhood fireworks that have gone off every night for the past few days.
We have to sedate them on the 4th as otherwise, they totally freak. They are also not big fans of New Year's Eve either.

We eon't be doing anything tomorrow, but if I have my way (which I will), on Saturday, I'll be partying a couple towns over with my friends, while watching the fireworks show that said town puts on every year.
Tommorrow ... yard work. But one of my cousin's has an annual Independence Day gathering at his home and everyone comes. It's all of our family and extended family and people bring their friends and extended family ... always a great time and this year it's on Lucky Saturday, 7-7-7 !
It's informal, fun, and really great food most of which heads directly to the arteries, and I love going.
