| Re: Happy 4th Of July!! I co uldn't get online to post yesterday, so I hope everyone had a fun and safe 4th and continue to enjoy the rest of the long weekend. I do have a bit of a gripe. Since the Boston Pops moved from PBS on 4th of July to network, we get a very, very, very much abbreviated 4th of July show. I HATE that they ONLY show the very end of the 1812 Overture. And then you get 2 songs from the "special" guests, the medley of Patriotic songs and then the fireworks with canned music, not the Pops. I liked the entire 2 hour version that PBS used to air. And I want to hear the entire 1812Overture and not just the part where they fire off the cannons (don't you just love that a piece of music was written for an orchestra and they included with all the instruments REAL cannon's?? I LOVE that!  . I'd like to see that sheet music)But everyone enjoy the rest of your weekend.
